Teatro Regio returns to Oman at the invitation of the Royal Opera House Muscat. As part of ROHM’s 2026/2027 Season, the Teatro Regio Orchestra takes centre stage in three performances: on Thursday 1 and Saturday 3 October, with two performances of Rigoletto conducted by Evelino Pidò in the production directed by Franco Zeffirelli, and on Friday 2 October with the Opera Gala conducted by Karel Mark Chichon, featuring mezzo-soprano Elīna Garanča.
This tour marks a further step towards an increasingly prominent international presence for Teatro Regio, a commitment undertaken by the Regio Orchestra with great versatility and rigour just a few weeks before the opening of the 2026/2027 Season.
