The meeting, moderated by journalist Susanna Franchi, will feature Musical Director Andrea Battistoni and director Stefano Poda.

During the event, the Polo Culturale di Marengo, in collaboration with the Unione Giornalisti e Comunicatori Europei, will present both artists with the Marengo Medal and a period print reproduction of the historic battle.

This honor is being awarded to the two artists as leading figures of Puccini’s Tosca, highlighting the profound connection between Napoleon’s victory on June 14, 1800, and the opera’s libretto, written by Luigi Illica and Giuseppe Giacosa.
