For the grand finale of the season, a leap into the future: the world premiere of a commission by the Teatro Regio to Matteo Franceschini, an artist with a cutting-edge personality, winner of the Silver Lion at the Venice Biennale in 2019, creator of dreamy and pulsating music in constant transformation. Framing this new work are the suite from the ballet La strada by Rota, which reworks the soundtrack of Fellini’s unforgettable film, and Suite No. 2 from the ballet L’Oiseau de feu by Stravinsky, featuring vibrant pages and the famous Infernal Dance. Leading this thrilling adventure with the Orchestra is Music Director Andrea Battistoni.
