The first triumph for Verdi, the composer who helped "make the Italians" even before Italy had been made. A drama of a clash between the populace, revolving around the ideal fulcrum of «Va’, pensiero», with a fundamental role for the chorus alongside the bel canto parts of the protagonists.

A resounding success since its première, this title is the perfect link between the comic operas of Mozart and Rossini, on the one hand, and Romanticism on the other. Perfect in its hilarious plot twists and brilliant melodic vein, more than two centuries later, it shows no signs of aging.

The icon of Italian ballet all over the world, Roberto Bolle, thanks to his talent, has created and introduced over time innovations into his brilliant galas, bringing together many marvelous étoiles in fabulous dance episodes: interpreters able to put in full relief the beauty of dance.

The choreographer Antonio Gades and the director Carlos Saura are behind the creation of this full immersion in flamenco dance, inspired by De Falla's L'amour sorcier. A success lasting  thirty years, this production is capable of innovating a captivating Iberian cultural tradition.
